Handbuilding Track

In the handbuilding course, students will explore coil, pinch, and slab construction methods to shape bowls, mugs, vases, and sculptural forms. Emphasis is placed on texture, surface design, and glazing techniques that bring your pieces to life.

Wheel Throwing Track

In the wheel throwing course, students will learn the fundamentals of centering clay, pulling walls, and shaping cylinders, bowls, and mugs on the pottery wheel. As skills develop, you’ll practice trimming, handles, and glazing to finish your unique creations.

Course Details

  • Length: 6 weeks (weekly 2hour sessions)

  • Skill Level: No experience necessary; all levels welcome

  • What’s Included: Clay, glazes, tools, and kiln firings

  • What You’ll Take Home: Finished pottery pieces to enjoy and use
